Get Out Get Active Program

This week marks the start of two initiatives by the Noosa Council for young women and teenagers. The Get Out Get Active campaign is for local women aged 18 to 24 and the Active Teens Program is for local teenagers aged 13 to 17 years.

CAZA BJJ is proud to be one of the participating Noosa based organisations that have teamed up with Noosa Council to offer two special programs. Sunshine Coast Brazilian Jiu-jitsu is growing fast and you are more than welcome to join in too.

Both of our programs focus on self-defence and also serve as an introduction to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, often simply referred to as BJJ. This is a 100% practical martial art that is ideal for self-defence.

The women’s program:
Cost: just $5 per class.
Total classes: 12 classes in all.
When: every Wednesday from the 28th of February.
Time: classes start at 5:30pm sharp.
What to wear: Just wear some comfortable clothing (activewear) and bring a towel and water bottle.

The teenager’s program:
Cost: just $5 per class.
Total classes: 12 classes in all.
When: every Friday from the 23rd of March.
Time: classes start at 5:30pm sharp.
What to wear: Just wear some comfortable clothing and bring a towel and water bottle.
We call this our Jiu-Jitsu Bullystop Program.

If you’ve been thinking about giving Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu a go then this is an ideal opportunity. We really hope that you will enjoy your time with us. And, of course, you are most certainly welcome to join us on a more permanent basis after the program ends.

Your instructors, Yoshi and Cheyne, look forward to meeting you!
