First QBJJC Tournament For 2018 Coming Up

Queensland based Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioners will be very pleased to hear that the first QBJJC tournament of the year is nearly here. The South East Queensland Championship is a 3-star event (stars determine the number of points you get from a given tournament – more stars equals more points).

Key information for this BJJ championship are as follows:

• Date: Sunday 18th February 2018
• Location: 97 Dundas Street West, Ormiston, Brisbane, Queensland

• Registration closes: Thursday 15th February 2018

As always, there are savings to be made if you book early. Here is the breakdown for this tournament:

1. Early Bird Registration (on or before Wed 31-1-2018)
   Fees $60 (1st division) / $25 (additional divisions) Plus FREE T-Shirt
2. Registration (on or before Wed 7-2-2018)
   Fees $70 (1st division) / $30 (additional divisions)
3. Late Registration (on or before Tue 13-2-2018)
   Fees $80 (1st division) / $35 (additional divisions)
4. Last Registration (on Wed 14-2-2018)
   Fees $90 (1st division) /$40 (additional divisions)

Heads up CAZA BJJ members

At present we are unsure of just how many CAZA BJJ members will be competing, however, we will definitely be there! That includes some of the CAZA kids.

With our membership numbers on the rise we expect to mount a real challenge to some of the overall Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu titles in Queensland this year.

CAZA BJJ members are advised to inform Yoshi of your intention to compete. Don’t leave it until the last minute. Decide early and prepare accordingly.
