After many years of searching and consulting with local real estate agents, CAZA Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu headquarters in Noosa has finally secured a larger location in the heart of Noosaville. Our new premises has opened at 7/18 Thomas Street, Noosaville, which is part of the Noosa Homemaker Centre.
We have fully renovated this space, as the smell of fresh paint, glues and sealants will testify. The classic CAZA black and white colour scheme looks amazing, especially at night when the illuminated signage really stands out.
With the move to this new location we have started experimenting with an expanded timetable which at times features two classes running simultaneously. While this may change in the future, the hope is that we can facilitate more people in the popular 5:30 pm timeslot. Advanced classes start at 6:30 pm, so the last session will still be well attended if you don’t mind a later start. Just keep in mind that most white belts need to be in the fundamentals classes.
We have two considerations with regard to classes running beside each other. The first is to ensure that we can continue to safely run two classes side-by-side. Second, we are monitoring the noise and voice levels to determine if two coaches speaking at the same time will be an issue. Fortunately, the early indication is that there is no echo generated, which is helpful.
From September 1st 2024, there will be some small increases to the membership fees for both adults and kids at our Noosa gym. We don’t increase fees very often, however with our move to our larger premises and expanding timetable options, we have decided now is the time to make adjustments.
Existing members, along with anyone who joins CAZA BJJ Noosa before the end of August will have their fees ‘grandfathered’ for now. If you have friends who have been thinking about joining, now is the time to get them to come in and sign up to ensure they can lock in a lower membership fee.
